Nature Detectives - August 10 - 12
This is a great program for kids ages 4 through completed 1st grade to explore nature. The program runs from 1-3pm each day and you can sign up for one day or all three. The themes are Rock On, Bubble Builders, and River Critters. Early Bird Registration Ends August 3.
Three New Day Camps - Aug 30, 31 & Sept 1
Here's your opportunity to have one last hurrah before school starts. These three day camps will run 10am-4pm for kids going into 1st through 6th grade. Day 1's theme will be dinosaurs, day 2 will be all about sports, and day three will be an outdoor adventure at Camp Kitchikippi. You don't want to miss these three days of fun.
Oakridge Cemetery Walking Tour PART II on Tuesday, August 10 THURSDAY, AUGUST 12 at 6:30 pm. (Takes a different route than PART 1.) Gather in front of the Oakridge Cemetery Building. Our guide is Susan Collins. This Tour is free of charge.
Mackinac Island Trip - October 4 - 7
Spend four days and three nights enjoying this Michigan treasure. Includes transportation by Dean Trailways of Michigan, accommodations at the Grand Hotel, five-course dinner each night, full breakfast each morning at the Hotel, ferry boat, carriage tour and various other activities.

PROGRAM DEADLINES: To receive the early registration discount, registration and payment must be received by 5:00 pm on the designated program deadline. Registration fees received after 5:00 pm on the deadline day will be subject to a fee increase.

The Marshall Recreation Department prides itself on being able to offer a wide variety of programs that literally enables an individual to participate in Recreation for a Lifetime. Programs and activities are provided year around, located both indoors and outdoors and include athletic leagues and tournaments, after school programming, various trips and special events. Department programs are designed to take you away from everyday life such as school and work and allow you a chance to relax, socialize, compete or just have fun.
The Marshall Recreation Department believes strongly in the benefits of recreation and is committed to contributing to both the individual and the community.
